Enjoy your next vacation at this lovely cabin. It is so relaxing and conveniently located just 70 miles northeast from the Twin Cities. Big Round Lake is over 1000 acres and is second to none for fishing in Northwest Wisconsin. It is also perfect for all water sports.The cabin was completely remodeled in 2010 and is very clean and cozy. All new appliances are furnished in the kitchen, as well as central air and forced air furnace for your comfort all year long. We have also placed coin operated laundry facilities in the tiled entry way. All bedding and towels are provided for you. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and pots and pans, and there is a gas grill provided. At 1200 square feet, this cabin will sleep 6 people comfortably. No pets and no smoking. On the main level you enter the cabin through the knotty pine entry way with tiled floors. From there is the large sized kitchen with the dinner table. There is a nice bathroom with a shower stall. Sorry no bathtub. Just off the kitchen is the living room with cable TV. Attached to the living room is the 4 season sun porch facing the lake. It has a 14" flat screen TV hanging in the corner,a rocker recliner, and a hide a bed sofa for a little extra sleeping space. Wireless internet is included as well. On the upper level you will find one large bedroom furnished with 2 queen beds and a dresser. It has one window facing the lake as well as two other windows which give you a great cross breeze. There is another bedroom with a queen bed, dresser and half bathroom with a toilet and sink. The smaller bedroom also has a 12'' flat screen TV hung on the wall. This room has two windows as well. Each room has a small closet if you wish to hang up some of your clothing. Outside you will enjoy the large well maintained one acre yard. There is a wooden swing and picnic table on the lake side of the cabin. A private dock is provided for you to dock your personal boat, pontoon, or other water craft that you are welcome to bring. We have a paddle boat, canoe and two kayaks available for you to use. There is also a beautiful fire pit set up with 8 Adirondack chairs. A fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, gas range and oven, microwave, pizza oven, toaster and coffee maker is provided. It is a well stocked kitchen with just about everything a cook may need including cookware, pots and pans, dishes and silver ware.
Bed linens, pillows, box fans in each bedroom, bath towels and wash clothes are all provided. We do ask that you bring your own beach towels. Cable TV, DVD, WIFI, gas grill, paddle boat, canoe, kayak, tandem kayak, fire pit and a supply of firewood along with Adirondack chairs are all included for your enjoyment.Activities and Attractions in the Area
Big Round Lake is conveniently located just minutes from five popular towns (Amery, Balsam Lake, Cumberland, Luck and Turtle Lake) that provide easy access to numerous restaurants, antique shops, grocery stores, and other interesting small shops...along with bike trails, snowmobile trails, boating, swimming, tennis, hiking, skiing, casino, bingo and much more to keep your entire family busy and entertained. Let's not forget the other popular attractions in the area: Golf courses, Interstate State Park, Chateau St. Croix Winery, Gandy Dancer State Trail, Northern Lakes Center for the Arts, Franconia Sculpture Park, St. Croix Casino, and Wild Mt.
